Our Day Programs are perfect for those facing mental health challenges who may be seeking to build skills and develop insight in a safe, supportive and collaborative group environment, led by our expert facilitators. Our programs are on offer throughout the year and cater to and target a broad range of mental health conditions by covering a variety of relevant topics.
As a first step, you are encouraged to discuss with your Northpark Psychiatrist whether they recommend a specific Day Program for your needs. Otherwise, all participants undergo an initial assessment by one of our Day Programs Intake Clinicians, who will discuss with you your individual needs and treatment goals. From that assessment, a collaborative treatment plan will be developed and your Day Program booking secured.
An admission into one of our Day Programs requires a referral from a Northpark Accredited Psychiatrist. A referral from your GP requesting an initial consultation with one of our Psychiatrists could be your first step.
Our Day Programs are held on-site at Northpark Private Hospital (135 Plenty Road, Cnr Greenhills Rd, Bundoora), in our newly renovated Day Programs Area. Onsite car parking is available at a reduced fee for Day Program participants, by requesting a validated ticket at the main reception. There is also limited street parking available.
