The direct admissions service is a comprehensive medical access solution that enables the direct admission of medical patients into Northpark Private Hospital.

Our Medical Officers including Physicians and Geriatricians are available to assess and admit your patients who may require in-patient care.

Northpark Private Hospitals direct admission process is available to privately insured, compensable DVA, TAC and Workcover, high acuity medical and surgical patients, when referred by a General Practitioner or an accredited specialist.

The process is simple

Our Hospital Coordinators are available 24/7 to accept the admission of your patients and discuss their needs with you.


There are 3 steps:
  1. Assess the patient.
  2. Call the Northpark Private Hospital Nursing Coordinator
  3. Hospital nursing coordinator contacts patient to confirm admission and to arrange the bed and patient transfer.
