The private patient experience

As a private patient, you’ll enjoy timely access to specialist consultations, diagnostic tests, and surgery, with the added benefit of choosing your own doctors—experts in gynaecology, fertility, maternity, and mental health—who understand and support your individual needs.

You’ll be supported by a dedicated team of health professionals who specialise in women’s health. These include accredited physiotherapists, dietitians, lactation consultants, pelvic floor specialists, and wound care nurses, all working together to support your recovery and wellbeing during your hospital stay.

Our friendly Bookings and Admission team is here to guide you and your support person through the process, answering questions and ensuring a smooth transition to theatre or your chosen care pathway.

Out-of-pocket fees

As with most care provided in a private hospital there are out-of-pocket fees. Your chosen specialist can give you an indication of out-of-pocket specialist fees and will work with the hospital to provide you with an overall estimate. Your private health fund will be able to advise whether your treatment is covered under your chosen health cover.

No private health insurance?

If you don’t have private health insurance or you’re an overseas patient, you can choose to self-fund. Your specialist can talk to you about this option and can provide an estimate of costs to you.
